We consider the broader context of social and environmental issues surrounding food production, distribution and preparation.
Partnerships
We are proud to partner with the following organizations.
The Office of Sustainability cultivates an ethos of sustainability at Princeton that inspires action at all scales in service to humanity and the world.
Since its inception, National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS) has focused on its mission to promote and support excellence in collegiate dining.
Princeton University Campus Dining is a proud member of the National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS).
The NACUFS institution members span across the U.S. and Canada who partner with industry members from the food, equipment, and consulting market segments.
Since its inception, NACUFS has focused on its mission to promote and support excellence in collegiate dining.
The Menus of Change Research Collaborative supports our efforts to build healthy and sustainable menus based on scientific- and evidence-based principles.
The collaborative is a working group of scholars and experts from invited colleges and universities interested in accelerating efforts to move American consumers—and college/university students, scholars, and staff in particular—toward healthier, more sustainable, plant-forward diets.
The collaboration recognizes that a significant amount of energy for food systems transformation today is being driven by concerned university students and forward-looking faculty and administration, and understands that university food systems hold considerable untapped potential to further catalyze existing efforts.
We are proud that the dining halls in Forbes College, Mathey College and Rockefeller College have been recognized by the Green Restaurant Association for using transparent, science-based certification standards to become more environmentally sustainable.
