Pork Basil

Makes 4 portions
INGREDIENTS

1 lb ground pork

2 oz. chopped garlic

1 cup julienne onion

1 cup julienne pepper

1 cup bamboo shoot strips

2 oz. chopped fresh chili

1 cup fresh basil

4 tbsp vegetable oil

4 tbsp oyster sauce
-
3 tbsp soy sauce
-
3 tbsp fish sauce
-
4 tbsp dark sweet soy sauce

2 tsp white sugar

¼ cup veggie stock
DIRECTIONS

Heat the oil in a wok, add garlic and chili, then sauté until it smells.

Add ground pork and sauté until it is cooked 75%, then add veggie stock.

Add all the vegetables except basil. Stir very well.

Season with oyster sauce, fish sauce, soy sauce, dark sweet soy sauce and sugar.

When the vegetables are tender (we still want the veggies to be crispy) add basil and shut the heat off.
