On September 9, Princeton University Library (PUL) and Campus Dining opened the doors to a new campus venue, the Tiger Tea Room. Located on Firestone's first floor, the venue, which serves coffee, tea, and assorted bakery items, will also present a new and unique service: afternoon tea.
Afternoon tea service will be available for Princeton University students, faculty, and staff on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 to 4 p.m., beginning September 17, with seatings on the hour. University members may invite a guest to their reservation, including those unaffiliated with the University, and the service price will be 15 dollars per person.
Open Mondays through Fridays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Tea Room serves Peet’s coffee and espresso beverages, Mighty Leaf hot and iced teas, hot chocolate, and pastries including croissants, scones, muffins, bagels, cookies, brownies, and biscuits and jam.
