Ramadan Mubarak!

Below you will find information and FAQs about this year's Ramadan meal program.

Meal Plan Holders Undergraduate & Graduate


C-Store (100 Level of Frist Campus Center):

March 10th – April 9th 2024

Monday – Sunday, 4:00 – 8:00 PM

Personalize your meal bag (Reusable Bags will Be Provided, Please Bring Them Back to Fill Each Time You Visit the C-Store). Hand pick the breakfast items you prefer, ranging from fresh fruit, snacks, and a variety of shelf-stable and cold entrees.

Use your TigerCard/PUID to check in with the attendant.  This meal will be counted as a breakfast swipe for the following day.


March 11th – April 9th 2024

Frist Food Gallery:

Monday – Thursday, 6 – 8:00 p.m.

March 15th & 16th 2024

Yeh New College West Dining Hall:

Friday – Saturday, 5 –8:00 p.m.

March 17th – April 9th 2024

Whitman Butler Dining Hall: 

Friday – Sunday, 5 –8:00 p.m.

A $15 allotment will be provided at the Frist Food Gallery, any additional expenditure will be charged to the student directly as a retail purchase.  If the $15 allotment is utilized, it will be processed as a dinner swipe for that day.

As an additional accommodation, Take-out containers will be provided to Registered Ramadan Plan users only at Friday – Sunday at designated Residential Dining Halls.

Undergraduate Non-Meal Plan Holders

The two meals per week that are allotted to all non-meal plan holder students can be used per the above accommodations for Suhoor & Iftar.

Graduate Non-Meal Plan Holders

The (6) six meals per semester allocated for use within Campus Dining, which can be used per the above accommodations for both Suhoor and Iftar.

Faculty and Staff

Faculty and Staff  are welcome to purchase from the C-Store and Frist Food Gallery, during the month of Ramadan.  In addition to the variety of hot and cold halal options at the grill, pizza, food for thought station, and grab-and-go stations, there will be grab-and-go halal entrees in the C-Store for the entirety of Ramadan.

Campus Dining Ramadan Program Registration

Campus Dining plans to accommodate and support students who are observing Ramadan by offering Suhoor and Iftar meals.

Students must register for Ramadan meals by completing the online form by March 6, 2024. Registration is required to participate in this program.


March 10, 2024 – April 9, 2024

Monday – Friday, 4–8:00 p.m.


Students will pick up, customizable Suhoor meal kits at C-Store. Meal kits will include foods that are both nutritionally dense and that offer variety. Students will be able to select fruits, baked goods, protein items, beverages, snacks, and complete meals in accordance with their dietary preferences and schedules.

Food Gallery

Students will be provided an allotment to pick up Iftar meals at the Food Gallery. There will be daily halal offerings at the grill, pizza, Food for Thought and grab and go stations.

Friday – Sunday, 5–8:00 p.m.

March 15 & 16 2024 

Saturday & Sunday, Yeh & New College West Dining Hall, 5 – 8:00 p.m.

March 17 – April 9, 2024

Friday – Sunday, Whitman Butler Dining Hall, 5 – 8:00 p.m.
