Residential Dining Halls

All dining halls will close after dinner on Friday, October 11 with the exception of Whitman/Butler and Forbes College Dining Halls which will remain open for students with Unlimited or Block 105 meal plans and purchased fall recess meal plans. 

Students with Meal Plans

Unlimited and Block 105 meal plans are active during fall recess.  There are 2 meal periods per day, brunch (10 a.m to 2 p.m.) and dinner (5 to 8 p.m.). During fall recess, Unlimited Meal Plan holders may enter one dining hall per meal period. 
(For example, if you go to Whitman/Butler dining hall for brunch at 10 a.m you will not be able to go to Forbes dining hall at 1 p.m on the same day.) 

Please note the Upperclass 2 meals per week program is not valid during recesses. 
Juniors and Seniors without a meal plan may pay per meal at the dining halls during recess or purchase a fall recess meal plan at the links below.

Upperclass 2 meals per week is inactive during fall recess. There are no late meals at Frist Campus Center.

Students with No Meal Plans

Students without the Unlimited or the Block 105 meal plan may register for one of two fall recess meal plans (beginning Oct 7.) The plan begins with brunch on Saturday, October 12 and ends with brunch on Sunday, October 20. All meals are served at the Whitman/Butler and Forbes College Dining Halls. 

• Traditional Fall Recess Meal Plan
  • Online registration begins Friday, October 4.
  • The fee is $231.00 A prorated fee will be charged if you register after recess has begun.
  • Traditional fall recess meal plan holders may enter one dining hall per meal period. 
        (For example, if you go to Whitman/Butler dining hall for brunch at 10 a.m you will not be able to go to Forbes dining hall at 1 p.m on the same day.) 
  • If you register after 4:00 p.m. between October 11 and October 18 the plan will be activated on your TigerCard prior to brunch the next business day. Registration will close at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18.
• Block 5 Fall Recess Meal Plan
  • Online registration begins Friday, October 4.
  • The fee is $85.00. The plan allows for 5 meals during fall recess. One dining hall per meal period. 
  • If you register after 4:00 p.m. between October 11 and October 18 the plan will be activated on your TigerCard prior to brunch the next business day. Registration will close at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18.

No refunds for unused meals.

There are no late meals at Frist during recess.
Upperclass 2 meals per week is NOT active during Fall recess.

Please note: There is no weekend breakfast at Whitman/Butler dining halls.

Brunch

10 a.m.–2 p.m.

Dinner

5–8 p.m.

Retail Hours

Retail operations will follow an abbreviated schedule beginning Friday, October 11 through Sunday, October 20.
