As the dad of a college student who, as a result of the pandemic, is currently at home with me in virtual classes, it gives me a deeper sense of responsibility to do my part in ensuring that the students and staff at Princeton University who depends on Campus Dining for support in nourishing their minds through daily meals, are cared for with love. The procurement team of Linda, Raysa, Kathleen, and myself are in constant contact with our vendors, Chefs, and campus staff to procure all the required ingredients to maintain balanced meals, while at the same time maintaining the quality food that Campus Dining has become known for. I cannot say enough how proud and grateful I am to be part of a team, who although is not on Campus at times, still has the trust of parents, students, and our leadership to continue providing services that we all love to render. Stay safe as we all get through this pandemic together!

A message to our community

As we acclimate to the new ways on campus, I realize so much has changed in just a few days. Some of the things that gave me the most joy, such as meeting with our students, talking with you during special events, or meeting my colleagues can no longer happen in the same way, at least for the time being. Along with my team, I wanted to think of ways to keep our connections alive, continue to show our care, and engage with our community. That being said, we are starting a new series called, Care.Connection.Community through which we will share messages with you.

Stay healthy and be well,
Smitha
