Meal Plan Rates

Princeton University meal plans are available to all active undergraduate and graduate students living on campus or off. Your meal plan balances are available for use at the beginning of each term and “spend down” throughout the semester. If you decide to add further value to your plan, you may purchase additional meals or Paw Points by logging into TigerCard.princeton.edu.

Required for First-Year and Sophomore students. This plan is optional for all Juniors and Seniors.

Meal plan option for Juniors and Seniors.  One swipe per meal period and late meal.

Notes

Unlimited plan is required for First-Year and Sophomores. First-Year meals begin on August 23, 2024 at brunch. Sophomore and Upperclass students meal plans begin on August 31 at brunch.

Unlimited meal plan holders may enter multiple dining locations multiple times during the same meal period. Meal plans are valid through Fall and Spring recesses. 

This plan includes $150 Dining Points per semester.  Dining Points may be used at retail locations on campus and in town. Dining Points roll from Fall semester to Spring. Unused Dining Points expire on the last day of spring term.

 

Unused meals are not refundable. Unused meals do not roll into the next semester.
Meal plan is active through Fall and Spring recesses.

Upperclass students receive an additional 30 meals as part of the 2 meals per week program. This allows more flexibility in dining across campus and fosters community connections during meals.

Graduate Unlimited meals begin on August 23, 2024. Procter Hall at the Graduate College opens on August 25 for brunch at 11 a.m.
Unlimited meal plan holders may enter dining hall multiple times and locations during a meal period. Meal plan is valid through Fall and Spring recesses.

Meal plan begins on August 23. Procter Hall open on August 25 at Brunch.  The plan includes supplemental continental breakfast plan that allows one swipe per breakfast at Procter Hall in the Graduate College from Monday through Thursday. Participating in this continental breakfast will not deduct meal swipes from your plan. Meal plan is valid through Fall and Spring recess.

Unused meals are not refundable.  Unused meals are not available for use in the Spring semester. 

No Meal Plan

Juniors and seniors without a meal plan may use the Two Extra Meals program. 

Members of the University community without a meal plan — including students, faculty and staff — may eat in any dining hall at current single meal rates with a student charge, Paw Points or TowerCard (Department Charge). Cash and credit cards are not valid in the dining halls.
