Chicken Parmesan

INGREDIENTS

1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast

2 tbsp olive oil

¼ cup bread crumbs
-
¼ cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese

1 cup of your favorite marinara sauce
-
¼ cup parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Heat a skillet with the olive oil.

Dredge the chicken in bread crumbs.

In the hot skillet with olive oil, sear the chicken.

Pour marinara sauce over the bottom of a baking pan.

Place seared chicken on top of sauce, covering the baking pan with foil and baking it in the oven for about 10 minutes.

When chicken reaches 165°F internal temperature for at least 15 seconds, remove from oven and top with cheese before serving.
