Chicken Parmesan

RECIPE NOTES

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes
Makes 6 portions

 

INGREDIENTS
  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • ¼ cup bread crumbs

  • ¼ cup shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese

  • 1 cup of your favorite marinara sauce

  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese

 

DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Heat a skillet with the olive oil.

  3. Dredge the chicken in bread crumbs.

  4. In the hot skillet with olive oil, sear the chicken.

  5. Pour marinara sauce over the bottom of a baking pan.

  6. Place seared chicken on top of sauce, covering the baking pan with foil and baking it in the oven for about 10 minutes.

  7. When chicken reaches 165°F internal temperature for at least 15 seconds, remove from oven and top with cheese before serving.
