RECIPE NOTES

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Makes 5 portions

 

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp water

  • ¼ oz chia seed

  • 3 oz acai puree

  • 3 oz blueberries

  • 3 oz strawberries, sliced

  • 4 oz bananas

topping suggestions
  • strawberries

  • blueberries

  • sliced mangoes

  • blackberries

  • raspberries

  • pineapple chunks

  • mandarin orange sections

  • seedless grapes

  • flax seeds

  • granola

  • chocolate chips

  • shredded coconut

 

DIRECTIONS
  1. Hydrate the chia seeds in the water. Use a 1:6 ratio of chia seeds to water.

  2. Add the acai puree.

  3. Puree the acai and chia seeds with thawed blueberries, strawberries, and frozen bananas.

  4. Put into freezer.

  5. When ready, scoop acai mixture into a bowl and top with choice of toppings.
